Please read through these very carefully to avoid possible disappointment due to any misunderstandings.

This is to protect you, the client, as well as the Artist.

Bookings

Please note that all bookings will only be confirmed on receipt of a 50% non-refundable deposit.

The balance of the payment is required at least 7 days prior to the scheduled booking. Bookings scheduled within the following 7 days require full payment upfront. “No-shows” or cancellation within 24 hours of the booking will result in forfeiture of the full amount.

A late fee of R100.00 will be charged for every 15 minutes of delay when a client is late for the scheduled time, or if scheduled makeup exceeds allotted time because of client delays.

Payments

The person responsible for the entire balance of payment is the person who has made the booking.

No refunds.

Additional costs

Wherever possible, the original total amount invoiced will include all costs related to your booking. Any additional services performed (at the discretion of the artist) will be invoiced, including any unforeseen expenses, such as the following :

PARKING/TOLL FEES: Where parking, valet or toll fees may be incurred;

AIRFARE & ACCOMODATIONS: All costs for travel to a booked event are to be paid by client. Costs may include, but are not limited to: airfare, hotel, transportation, parking, per diem, service incidentals and all taxes.

Please advise the number of persons wanting false lashes or any possible extra makeups at least 24 hours prior to the booking. Any additional makeups need to be paid in cash or EFT Immediate Transfer on the day.

No refunds.

Cancellations

As stated above, all deposits are non-refundable. Should a client cancel the appointment within 24 hours, the full amount is non-refundable.

Should the artist be in any way unable to perform their duties for any reason within 24 hours of the appointment, all moneys paid will be refunded in full via EFT within two (2) weeks. Client agrees that the refund of moneys received is the only liability to The Makeup Crewe, Laura Crewe and any and all of it’s owners, employees and agents.

LIABILITY:

All brushes, tools and makeup products are kept sanitary and are sanitised between every makeup application. Makeup products used are skin-care based and/or hypoallergenic and not tested on animals. Any skin condition should be reported by the client to the makeup artist prior to application and if need be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test reaction. Client(s) agree to release the makeup artist, The Makeup Crewe, Laura Crewe, it’s owners, and all employees and agents from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reaction

TRAVEL FEES: Standard AA rates will be charged as a round trip, plus R100 per 30 minutes, or part thereof, travel time. This is calculated using Google Maps Directions from Northwold, Johannesburg.

Please note: In the case of booking far in advance, the travel fee quote is subject to change dependent on fluctuations in fuel price. The amount therefore will be adjusted, if necessary, when final payment is due (7 days before the booking).
